Activities and Events
The Richmond Historical Society will hold its annual membership meeting on Sunday, February 9 at 3:00 pm in the Richmond Free Library Community Room. Guest speaker Paul Wood will give a slideshow presentation entitled Inventive Vermonters: A Sampling of Farm Tools and Implements. Wood presents an assortment of farm tools and artifacts invented or produced in Vermont, examining their use, uniquenesss of design, and the often fascinating stories of the inventors themselves. The program is co-sponsored by the Vermont Humanites Council.
A brief business meeting and election of officers will precede the program. Refreshments provided by the Richmond Historical Society Board of Directors will follow. This event is free and open to the public. Handicapped accessible. For more information contact Martha Turner at
